Below are some updates from the current group of students and curates receiving LFTB funding.
In 2026 we are supporting three students training at Bishopdale Theological College; and two Curates.
Join us in praying that their training and ministry will serve in God’s gospel
purposes of building his church and holding out the Lord Jesus to our nation.

Where are you up to in your training?
I am currently in my third year of four (so over half way!) at Bishopdale Theological College. Afterwards, we are hoping to continue ministry work within CCAANZ
How has your training stretched you?
It has done many things, but most notably it has forced me to look to Scripture to reinforce, and strengthen my trust and knowledge in the Lord Jesus
What needs do you see for Kiwi Anglican churches?
At the moment, I believe we need gospel workers who can faithfully and clearly preach and teach the Word of God; those who are equipped to handle Scripture humbly and with trust in the Lord to do His work.
What are you praying God will do, including with you?
I am asking God to be doing just that in Anglican contexts around New Zealand! Our constant prayer through training has been that the Lord might show us where we can serve and be building us up to continue in Christ and proclaim Him faithfully.

Where are you up to in your training?
Second year at Bishopdale Theological College.
How has your training stretched you?
Training has shown me the importance of being able to clearly and faithfully articulate the gospel message while keeping it central to my life and ministry.
What needs do you see for Kiwi Anglican churches?
Kiwi Anglican churches need gospel workers who are equipped to teach the Bible faithfully across diverse settings e.g. kids, small groups, one-to-one ministry.
What are you praying God will do, including with you?
I am asking God to help Anglican churches know and preach Christ crucified which is at the heart of the gospel and I pray that He would ground me deeply in His Word and sustain my trust in Jesus so I may serve as a clear and faithful witness to His death and resurrection.
